UCM established Gaia House- Interfaith Center to express our commitment to
inclusion and interfaith dialogue. Over the years, we have shared
this space with several other faith and
social justice groups working together to create a better world.
Located at the corner of Grand Avenue and S. Illinois Avenue, Gaia House-Interfaith Center provides space for a
variety of groups which regularly
meet there. It also offers space for special events. For reservation availability and rates, contact
UCM at 618-549-7387.
Gaia House-Interfaith Center has a extensive library of books, videos, CDs, and
magazines on a variety of topics related to spirituality, inspiration,
scripture, theology, ecology, self help, world religions, peace and social
justice. The library is free and also offers space for meditation,
meetings, and Internet access. It is available to all and is run on
the honor system.
